Taraji P. Henson of Fox TV’s debut musical drama, “Empire”, is dressed in Ports 1961, for the cover feature on the January 16th issue of “The Hollywood Reporter”.

I love musical dramas. From acclaimed director Lee Daniels, of “The Butler”, and Emmy winning screenwriter, Danny Strong, “Empire” is based party on William Shakespeare’s “King Lear”, and James Goldman’s “The Lion in Winter”. The show also stars Terrance Howard and Academy Awards Nominee Taraji P. Henson. The show is an hour long family drama, centered around a hip-hop music company called Empire Enterprises. I’ve already caught the first episode, and it was great. Catch it on Fox, 9:00PM/8:00PM Central.
