We would like to welcome Milan Vukmirovic’s as our new creative director of Ports 1961 menswear. Born in France in 1970 to a Serbian family, Milan was raised in Paris. As a young boy, Milan exhibited an early aptitude towards fashion. In pursuit of his vocation, Milan studied at ESMOD, the world-renowned fashion school in Paris. However, not one to forgo an opportunity, Milan left school in favor of an internship at the Jardin des Modes. Inspired by his focus in fashion, Milan quickly sought new challenges in the industry. In 1996, Milan co-founded Colette, the now-legendary concept store in Paris. Fresh from success, Milan caught the attention of Tom Ford. In 2000, Milan was appointed Design Director for the Gucci Group, and subsequently, the Creative Director of Jill Sander. In 2005, internationally acclaimed menswear magazine, L’Officiel Hommes, enlisted him as their Editor-in-Chief. Milan joined Trussardi as Creative Director in 2007. Milan is currently Editor-in-Chief and Founder of FASHION FOR MEN bookazine. |
